South Canoe Wind Turbine Project – Lunenburg, NS

Englobe completed geotechnical surveys for the wind park located 25 km south-west of Windsor (Vaughan and New Russell regions). Surveys focused on turbine implantation sites and sites that will intersect with access roads.
Work was completed during the winter, and the presence of underlying shallow granite bedrock required substantial rock coring. Tree clearing and earthworks were also carried out as necessary to reach individual turbine sites.
